Tru Calling Discussion – “Brother’s Keeper”

I wonder if this will be anything like Judd Winick’s
award-winning Green Lantern story arc.

I liked this episode. The actors seemed to be a little more into their characters and Eliza isn’t doing as much of the ‘supergirl action figure’ posing. It seemed to me before she was still playing Faith in a lot of ways.

The editing seemed smoother with less of the eye splitting MTV stuff.

The only real nit pick that I have is that Tru really needs to stop wasting time running back to the morgue to check if a body is there or not. This is like the 3rd time she’s done the time warp (it’s just a jump to the left!) and I’d think she knows they’re not going to be there by now.

In all fairness, logic does not always play a roll in what a person decides to do. I mean, if I had something that “out there” happen to me, I might just not quite believe what was going on, even after numerous repeats. Even if I know intellectually that something will be the case, I may not believe it viscerally.

Granted, it’s annoying to us as viewers, but it’s not really so unbelievable. As long as they stop showing it every episode, I can deal with it.
