CW DCU Discussion: Legends of Tomorrow, “The Fellowship of the Spear” and Arrow, “Kapiushon”

Arrow goes dark. Very Dark.

Legends of Tomorrow goes to the First World War, where a Tolkien appearance opens the door for many jokes and references.

  1. Yeah, that was dark. It kind fo did have to go there in the flashbacks given where things started back in season one. The present day stuff, though, was heavy. I’m looking forward to a nice payoff on it, but I’m dreading a typical “TV reset” coming somewhere down the line.

  2. Apparently, sarin gas is only deadly if a pressurized canister of it explodes in your face. Nobody else seemed to suffer any ill effects from running around in big clouds of it.

  3. The thing about Arrow is, I mean, I thought Ollie already knew that about himself. And that’s why he worked pretty hard to stop killing.

Also, you know who else likes when he kills people? We do.

As for Legends – for goodness sake, you have a time machine. You can go see Tolkien whenever you want, it doesn’t have to be in the trenches. Same for digging up the church.
