  1. Going to wait before ordering
Given that the shipping charges are higher than the cost of the comic, I’m going to wait for them all to be released before ordering them. That is, if I can’t find them at BAMM.

  2. Big Damn Movie
Wait… is the official title of the movie “Serenity:Big Damn Movie”? if so, that would be excellent. I suspect Ricky James is just having a little fun playing off of the big Damn Heros schtick.

But still. Big Damn Movie would be son nice.

Interesting, after checking IMDB to see what they say is the official title (damn, it’s just “Serenity” oh well). The trivia section says that Alan Tudyk claims that the movie contract is a 3 movie deal! (I know it doesn’t guarantee 3 movies, but at least they are thinking more than just one!).

That was made known a while ago. IIRC they signed a contract with an option to do up to three movies. The bummer was that they couldn’t make it as a TV show for five years. So another five years to wait to see the gang on a weekly schedule. Bummer. Still, we’re really looking forward to the movie!

Meh, that’s a standard deal. They’re all looking for the next money making trilogy, planning ahead, just in case.

Didn’t Tudyk win something for his CGI job in Will Smith’s Rampaging Robots movie?

  3. Mean marketing people
Teasing us with promises of comics when the movie was supposed to be out by now.

Then again, it’s a good thing they aren’t competing with the likes of Sin City. Ninja hookers always win over space call girls in a box office fight ;-)
