Doesn’t show much, but it does whet your appetite for November. Something to look forward to after Serenity.

What it does show…
…is worrying in its deviations from the book. Again. Did Harry fight the dragon
on foot? At all? No! Is there any reason you can think of to change that for the
film version? Answers on a comment.
And anyway, there’s going to be something after Serenity? Will it matter?

I can think of, oh, 50 reasons why they might want to put Harry on foot for this trial. Reason #34: a fight between a CGI dragon and a CGI broom-riding Harry would suck.

and he DID face the dragon on foot at first. he stood there for a while and *then* after thinking about it for a while, ended up on the broom. of course, I haven’t seen the trailer, so I really don’t know what you’re referring to yet…(slinks off to watch the trailer…)

I’m gonna suggest you go back and read the book …
Harry doesn’t come riding in on a broom, he stands there and thinks of what to do and if I remember coorectly he stumbles around a bit about to get stomped before summoning his broom and then does what he needs to do. And how can you freak out over about 4 sec of footage and assume that one scene has been totally changed?
why oh why…
… do they make it so hard to track down
the real URL, so you can download and save it?

Because Apple can charge more money for the space if they
get more traffic. If you have to go to their site 10 times
to watch it 10 times, you count as 10 hits instead of one.

…and those of us who work at a fascist police state of a company are severely restricted in what websites we can go to. Thanks for the link, btw. While my employer filters the Quicktime traliers site, they don’t filter the urls to the actual trailer files.
Hermione
It was neat seeing how the characters have gotten older. Ron and Harry have grown up a bit, but Hermione… Wow. I didn’t even recognize her.

That’s how she look for a ball; it’s not how she’s gonna look for the whole movie. As such, that shot is a tad misleading.
One who’s looking less and less charming throughout the series is Ron, though…
