Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “I need to upgrade my DVD release of Appleseed – Discotek Media generally put some serious work into their Blu-Ray releases, so I’m looking forward to picking this up.” Blaine says, “nothing I’ve seen really jumps out at me. Mallrats is good, but not spectacular.”

  1. All the Haunts be Yours looks interesting. I will definitely catch Woodlands Dark And Days Bewitched. on Prime.

Still never watched a Sharknado film. Don’t feel that I’m missing out.

  2. If you’re into “so bad it’s good” movies, New York Ninja is way up there.

Originally made in 1984 but never completed, the reels were found when the studio was bought by another studio… and someone decided to complete it. This was unedited footage with no audio and no script to go by, so they just had to guess what the story was, and then dub in the audio based on, again, guesses. They did bring in some pretty big b-movie names to do the voice “acting”.
