ok, no new surface episodes until january. which is a good way of not really ending a season. shows seem to be doing this hiatus deal much like battlestar is doing. tonights episode was ok, i dont want to spoil anything for the people who have yet to see it, but all i’ll say is that another character was wacked.

That was obvious last episode I think – I was actually surprised that the boat was still afloat.

Discussion topic: Miles and Savannah’s Parents – Worst Ever?

Why, our children had a gigantic party the last time we left them alone, and our only son just received parole for resisting arrest and raising a dangerous animal – it’s obviously time to go on a retreat!

Agreed, especially since they kept climbing and leaning over the sides. And, since Rich risked his life to get the backpack from the curiously-bouyant iron tank, the FIRST thing I would’ve done would be to secure it to the raft or myself.

Meanwhile, could we rip off E.T. any more?

Also, speaking of rip offs, has anyone else noticed how both Surface and Invasion ripped off Lost’s title effect and trumpeting “theme”?

HAHAHA! I was expecting Nim to croak out ‘Be Goooood…’ before dying.

I think my suspension of disbelief drowned at the bottom of the sea last episode. Or maybe it was eaten by a shark. Or perhaps it died of hypothermia. Then again maybe it died when a sea monster slammed it 30 feet into the air.
Next episode: Daughtery and Connelly have their heads completely removed and ground up into pellets. Luckily they are saved after some headless adventures.

Yet we’re still watching, and I’m kind of looking forward to the next episode – It’s like a horrible accident, and we just can’t look away…

HAHAHA… look away. Oh, God, look away!

But then, in the corner of your eye, you see Data and that woman they retroactively wrote out of Spin City, and you are afraid to turn your head.
