Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “I’m making Eizouken my recommendation not only as an anime, but in general – any fan of animation should definitely give this show a watch. Otherwise, on the 4K front, I’m going with the 1953 War of the Worlds.” Blaine says, “the 1953 War of the Worlds is also the title that most appeals to me, even if it is a terrible adaptation.”

One reply

  1. The fact that Ancient Aliens has 17 seasons depresses me.

I’ll watch Warworld because I’ve enjoyed (or outright loved) any and all WB animated Justice League movies.

The Little Mermaid looks…bad. From the clips I’ve seen, the CGI looks bad. The acting looks bad. I’ll probably end up watching it on Disney+ but the company just needs to stop with these Live Action remakes. I read somewhere that they’re doing it to re-assert their copyright, but that seems wasteful. Honestly, out of all these live action remakes, only The Jungle Book was mildly interesting.
