Story Arc
I like this show. The episodes manage to actually be scary, which isn’t easy for a monster-of-the-week episodic show. I am glad to see some longer term story arcs building, with our evil hitchiker babe.

I like it also, but especially because they don’t feel a need to make up the critters, they just grab a few mythological reference books, urban legends, etc and run with that.
Who’s your daddy? Or, more importantly, who and what is Meg’s daddy?
I only hope that the appearance of Cancer Man doesn’t denote an X-Files style conspiracy of Demon-magic. I knew Dean was in trouble the minute he showed up at that college and started talking to Old Smokey.
Also, was I the only person who was unsurprised by who was actually killed?
