Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “I’ll be picking up Evangelion 3.0+1.11 – it’s a very satisifying conclusion to the Eva Rebuild series (and to Evangelion as a whole) – though I wouldn’t mind if GKids did a rerelease of parts 1-3 with the new dub that Amazon did when they licensed all 4 films for release on Amazon Prime.” Blaine says, “Barbie is the most appealing physical release, for all of the reasons I went into the week the digital version came out.”

One reply

  1. I need to get around to watching and/or reading Centennial. The town I live in is built on the land the story is based on. (We even have a Venneford Ranch Road as a nod to the book).

Barbie was loads of fun. Inherit the Wind is, once again, apropos of our times (stupid anti-science right wing nut jobs!).

I enjoyed season one of Night Court. It’s not up to par with the original, but (to be fair) the original had a rough couple of early seasons before they landed on a cast and formula that worked.
