Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “On the anime front I’m going for the Urusei Yatsura collection – not just becaues it’s the only one on the list, but also because it’s really good. For 4K series, I’m going with the Ring collection, and otherwise I’m going with Dracula Has Risen From The Grave.” Blaine says, “nothing I’ve seen jumps out at me this week, but I keep hearing great things about The Name of the Rose.”
Name of the Rose is worth seeing, though it misses a large part of what makes the novel so interesting. Blazing Saddles remains funny, iconoclastic, and problematic. Carrie (2013), the third revisiting of Stephen King’s novel is … Ah, we reviewed it here.
