  1. I feel like they rode the edge of establish continuity in a way that felt like there was a contradiction somewhere in there, but I didn’t have anything specific. The only thing I would have expected was that the knowledge of the Mirror Universe seemed more common than I’d have thought.

    Did we already know what the Breen looked like?

    • I didn’t spot any contradictions. That ship is never seen but the one time in the Mirror Universe. That isn’t to say there aren’t any. I thought it was a clever way to recycle sets.

      It’s a running gag from DS9 that we never saw the Breen. In fact, Weyoun comments about how they don’t need those suits to function off the Breen home world. That it’s all some big ruse to fool outworlders. I’m down to dive into that backstory about their culture. Whether or not we will remains to be seen as the pacing of these newer Trek shows doesn’t exactly allow for worldbuilding.
