  1. Michael Powell’s Peeping Tom (1960) was the UK’s Psycho, released just two months before the Hitchcock film. They started development independently and are different films, but the parallels are clear enough. It’s a disturbing thriller that pretty much killed the director’s career in Britain, but quickly came to be recognized as a cinematic masterpiece.

    I strongly recommend to fans of the horror and thriller genres.

  2. I just rewatched Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes while on a flight home, so I am pumped to see Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
