Alex says, “I don’t actually have any picks this week – I am interested in seeing the 1988 version of The Blob, but not enough to necessarily make it a pick.” Blaine says, “there are a number of digital releases worth ‘owning’, such as Castle, Star Trek VI, and Stargate, but they’ve all been released before, so those who want to check them out may already own them or know where to stream them as part of an existing subscription.”

  1. The West Wing is excellent television. Pure competence porn. Highly recommended. I once heard someone come up with the fan theory that TWW is the start of the timeline branch that leads us to Star Trek.

    (It doesn’t work, because of the whole WWIII thing, but it’s a nice idea)
