Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “My UHD pick of the week is Ringu, with the 50s Sci-Fi collection getting my regular pick on the strength of Them! and Beast from 20,000 Fathoms.” Blaine says, “I’m going with the Superman 5 film collection, although I’d also recommend seeking out the older release with both versions of the original film.”

  1. Errol Flynn was… not a great person, but his movies are pretty good if you’re into old swashbuckling films.

My very unpopular opinion is that I just… didn’t enjoy Galaxy Quest. I found it boring and predictable.

The Misfits is a very difficult movie for me. But if anyone still thinks Marilyn Monroe wasn’t a really, really good actress, watch this movie.

I’m… I don’t about the new Naked Gun. I just don’t know why we needed to reboot that franchise.

    • Your Errol Flynn comment reminds me I still need to read Christopher Lee’s autobiography. I guess he has a story where he broke Flynn’s hand fencing or playing tennis. The man had quite the life.
