Tolkien Fans Get The Gulag

This is rather disturbing… in one of the weird little dots that used to make up the Soviet Union, the police are arresting and allegedly torturing people who re-enact scenes from Tolkien novels.

    whats next?
What the hell is next? Jordanists? Eddingsists?
WeisandHickmanists? While i do find it interesting that
people do this, and would perhaps be an Eddingsist if
given a choice, I dont really understand how a country
anywhere in this world today can be so bass ackwards
about its alternative lifestyle policies. Oh well, chock it
up to live and learn. Sheesh, the way these people
react leads me to believe that Marion Zimmer Bradley
might just be evil incarnate! :)

    Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan… that sounds like one of the countries on my Risk board. Or better yet, that place in Austin Powers, but I think that was Kerplakistan. :)
