Galactica: The Story So Far

Jonesing for some Galactica? Fear not. Debuting Sunday on NBC (and then being run EVERYWHERE) will be a one-hour recap of Battlestar Galactica. The special will incorporate footage from the miniseries and the first two seasons. The special will also be included as a bonus DVD in the Battlestar Galactica Season 2.5 set.

    Great idea
This is a great idea to get more people interested in the show, and is one I’ll be taping to pass around at work.

Bonus DVD only at Best Buy?
My interpretation of TFA is that the bonus DVD is only included with Season 2.5 if you get it at Best Buy. Anyone know for sure what the story is?

That’s how I read it as well. Boo. If it’s that good, it’d be a perfect way to introduce folks to the show.

    Just out of curiosity…..
I may be a little late to the party on this, but are they planning on releasing Season 2 as a full box set like Season 1 or are we forced to by it in 2 parts?

I too am curious about this. I haven’t heard anything about a full season 2 release.

The R2 release later this month will be both halves, I think we’ll see a similar release in R1 too down the road.

    Interesting, but unortunatly scheduled
I saw this on the TV schedule, and I would have taped it, but for two reasons:
    1) I don’t have cable, so I’ve been going entirely by the DVDs, and I haven’t made much progress even there.
    2) It conflicted with the second half of "Inspector Morse in Sins of the Fathers" on Mystery, which I wanted to tape.
