Musical Buffy Extra Long

Next Tuesday’s musical episode of Buffy will run longer than the hour it’s been allotted, according to this IGN article. I can’t find any indication of this on the new official page though, nor can I find the post IGN quotes Joss making on the Bronze Beta web page.

  1. Found the post
I found Whedon’s post. It’s on this page of the archives. Search for “(Wed Oct 31 14:40:21 2001)” and you’ll find it.

  2. Willow Sings!!!!!
This Is Going To be One Of My Favorite Episodes, Easily. I’ve Been Playing The Trailer For It On Repeat Just To Listen To The Music.

For Those unaware, Giles Actually Can Sing, He Even Played Frank-n-Furter In The Rocky Horror Show. Spike Is In A band, And Tara Sang On The RHPS 25th Aniversary Special (Dressed As Janet, Something I REALLY Wished I Taped), So they Actually have Some Talent On The Show.

and I Did See That Post, It’s Supposed To Go 8 Minutes Long, According To Joss.

A Side Not, If Anyone Watches The trailer, Giles Sings At One Point:
    “I’ve Got A Theory, That It’s A Demon, A Dancing Demon, No.. Something Isn’t Right There…”

But He’s Right. Joss Whedon, The Producer/Writer/etc Of The Show Is Responsible For The Singing, Right? Joss Played ‘Numfar’, A Demon On Angel Famous For Not Having A Speaking Roll, But Doing ‘the Dance Of Honor’, ‘The Dance Of Sorrow’, And ‘The Dance Of Joy’.

      Spike Is In A band

Spike also reminds me of Billy Idol. He did before I saw the clip of him singing, too.

They Played That Up In One Episode. They had A Flashback To the Late 70s When Spike Kills Another Slayer, And He’s All Decked Out To Look Like A Punk, And It’s Obvious They Are Going For the Billy Idol Look. I Was Shocked The Didn’t Actually Play Anything Billy In The Background.
