Sorry this is late, but my hotel doesn’t have wired Internet access, and my laptop doesn’t have wireless, so I had to write and post the column from work after hours. As always, the complete list is here.
Dark Horse
- STAR WARS DARK TIMES #4 (OF 5)
DC Comics
- ACTION COMICS #852 – A Countdown tiein
- ALL FLASH #1 – The well reviewed return of both Wally Wood and Mark Waid
- AMAZONS ATTACK #4 (OF 6)
- BRAVE AND THE BOLD #5
- COUNTDOWN 41
- GREEN LANTERN SINESTRO CORPS SPECIAL 2ND PTG #1 – I don’t usually list second printings, but this was great. Highly recommended if you missed it the first time and have even a fleeting interest in Green Lantern.
- JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #11
- SUPERMAN BATMAN #38
Marvel
- ANNIHILATION CONQUEST QUASAR #1 (OF 4)
- AVENGERS INITIATIVE #4 – A World War Hulk crossover
- CAPTAIN AMERICA #28 – Part of the Initiative, and still a gripping title several months after the title character was assassinated.
- FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #22 – One of the last issues before Amazing Spider-Man goes to thrice monthly shipping.
- GHOST RIDER #13 – Concluding the World War Hulk crossover. Expect a review of both issues this weekend, unless they suddenly extend the crossover as they did with Civil War.
- HOOD BLOOD FROM STONES PREMIERE HC (MR) –
- SUPER VILLAIN TEAM UP MODOKS 11 #1 (OF 5) – This will either be the most fun title on the market or just a waste of paper. I really don’t see how it could be anything in between.
- THE ORDER #1 – Would have been called “The Champions” if Marvel still owned the rights to the title. Part of the Initiative.
- ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #111
- WOLVERINE ORIGINS ANNUAL #1
- WORLD WAR HULK #2 (OF 5)
- WORLD WAR HULK FRONT LINE #2 (OF 6)
- WORLD WAR HULK X-MEN #2 (OF 3)
Wally…?
I think you mean Wally West, the Flash. Wally Wood was an artist at Marvel, and died in 1981.
Great issue, though, for all that.
Star Wars!!!
