Russian “Slutbot” is Loose

The Cyberlover, allegedly created by Russian crooks, convincingly poses as a human in chatrooms in order to elicit personal information.

Does it pass the Turing Test?….

….And would it get to a Bureau-crat, if it can’t discuss SF, fantasy, or comix?

I know I’m a geek, but PLEASE. This thing couldn’t pass a turing test. No way it could. It looks like they didn’t challenge it or push it past it’s programmed limitations.

It may perform very well within it’s realm of smut talk… who knows, but it’s just a script. I doubt it would take long to find the point where it has some version of "I don’t know, can we talk about something else?"

Not the first time… but still. Based on text alone there should be no limit to where it cannot go if it’s a real test. I should be able to ask any question in the quest to determine if it’s human or not. No limitations, no hand holding, otherwise, the it’s not a real test.
