In news that’s surprising virtually everyone the world over, Michael Crichton has died after a private battle with cancer.
Best known for his book Jurassic Park, Crichton was adept at bringing a heavy dose of real-life science into his books and then going the next step with fantastic and sometime horrific results.
I can’t believe it
I can’t believe I’ll never get to read a new Crichton novel again. This particularly hit me since I recently ordered a couple of books from favorite authors and am really looking forward to them. I remember getting Crichton’s last few books as soon as they came out and getting through them in a weekend because they were so good.
