I was very disappointed in X3, so I have some reservations about this whole project. Watching the trailer, I found myself thinking “That was kind of cheesy” when Logan flips the Hummer, somehow launches himself into the air, and attaches himself to the helicopter. On the bright side, Gambit has always been one of my favorite X-Men, so I’ll be very interested to see how the character comes off in this.

    Understatement
As far as I know, everyone was disappointed with X3. Brian Singer went a little far with his artistic license at times, but Brett Ratner just went off the deep end. There really isn’t much positive to say about X3.

I didn’t have similar feelings to you when I saw the XMO: Wolverine trailer. I thought it looked awesome. I hope the rest of the movie is as good, and right now have no reason to doubt it.

      Agreed.

I thought X3 was the weakest of the three, but I didn’t dislike it nearly as much as the Internet did before its release. :)

The Wolverine trailer makes the movie look action-packed, which, frankly, is all I’m looking for in a Wolverine movie. If some cheese has to accompany that, I’m cool with it – it is a comic book movie, after all.

I take it all back, though, if Wolverine has occasion to break into song…

I agree completely, however moderately annoyed that they are using a different actor for Sabretooth. More because I hate when they change actors rather than thinking that Tyler Mane can actually act :)
