Weekly Comics Discussion – April 8, 2009

As usual, the complete list is available here. It’s a good week for miniseries titles.

DC Comics

  • BATMAN BATTLE FOR THE COWL #2 (OF 3)
  • BOOSTER GOLD #19 – Soon to be the new home of the “Blue Beetle” co-feature.
  • GREEN LANTERN #39 – Origins and Omens, and the start of the “Agent Orange” storyline
  • IDENTITY CRISIS # 1 SPECIAL EDITION – A $1.00 comic, probably designed to herd people towards the TPB collection.
  • SECRET SIX #8
  • SHOWCASE PRESENTS THE DOOM PATROL TP VOL 01
  • SOLOMON GRUNDY #2 (OF 7)
  • SUPERMAN WORLD OF NEW KRYPTON #2 (OF 12)

Marvel Comics

  • ALL NEW SAVAGE SHE-HULK #1 (OF 4) – If you missed the one-shot, Thundra seduced the Hulk a while back.
  • CAPTAIN BRITAIN AND MI 13 #12
  • DAREDEVIL NOIR #1 (OF 4)
  • DARK REIGN HAWKEYE #1 (OF 5) – This is not about Clint Barton, but is instead about the man under the mask on Dark Avengers, i.e. Bullseye.
  • DEADPOOL SUICIDE KINGS #1 (OF 5)
  • EXILES #1 – Relaunched. I guess I’m not the only one to drop it when Claremont took over.
  • MARVEL ZOMBIES 4 #1 (OF 4)
  • TIMESTORM 2009 2099 #1 (OF 4)
  • ULTIMATE WOLVERINE VS HULK #4 (OF 6)

Are these comments recursive linking, just trying to boost search rankings?

By default, WordPress automatically links us to other locations that link to this article, possibly so readers can follow discussions on both sites. What really surprises me is the number of links that are either misattributed, or not attributed at all.
