    Yet To Buy One
I have yet to buy one from Phantom Menace. They were too hard to find for the first few weeks, and since then it seems to have petered down to a bunch of Senator Palpatines (not bad), some of the Queen’s pilot (can’t remember his name) and a few of the Queen’s handmaiden (can’t recall which).

I do, however, have lightsabers and Legos. The little Lego Darth Maul, sadly, doesn’t have a dual-blade saber. Had to buy a second set to make one.

I may need a Jango Fett, but who doesn’t?

The stores here are stocked with endless supplies of Jek Porkins, Boss Nass, and Frost-On-The-Nose Chewie.

    Cool Toys
The toys for Attack of the clones are by far the most detailed and just plain neat I’ve seen. They actually look like the actors they are made to be (wonder of wonders!!! What a concept.)

According to Lucas he’s cutting down on the merchandise this time around since you couldn’t run far enough last time. Although I have to say Phantom Menace DID NOT have a breakfast cereal like I just saw today at Target (Clone Oh’s or something to that effect.) But I have to say I think the focus was more on producing a good product than trying to cram out something like Jar Jar toilet paper (ohh…bad analogy sorry for that folks)

But I, as a collector, think these are pretty niffty. Anakin has force ability with the use of specially placed magnets that allow him to open a weapons case without touching it. His lightsabre actually expands (without the use of the bare mid riff Padme’ in chains figure I’m sure will be all the rage with the fan boys) without it being built into his arm like the original figures (which just looked plain wrong.) Baby Bobba (yes I know that is just plain wrong too) is tre’ cool.

But I have to say that the most awesome thing out there is that bad ass Dooku Sabre. (Drool) I want one I want one!!! That is next to be bought. Christopher Lee is DA BOMB!!! Dooku is gonna kick the major bootie. Long live Dracula!…I mean Dooku. :)

I give this string of toys a thumbs up. They look far far better than the lame a$$ Scorpion King figures I saw the other day at Wal Mart. These made The Rock look like they’d placed Howard Stern’s head on a Terminator body. Who designed that? Laser sculpting my butt.
