  1. I was so looking forward to this issue of Buffy as it’s the last issue in this arc. I don’t get to the comic shop as much as I used to and consequently don’t read any issues until the arc is complete and then read them all at once.

However, I was reading this month’s issue of Wizard and though I’m pretty careful about reading spoilers, they let the cat out of the bad regarding who Twilight is and ruined it for me.

    Dang it!

    • People in general were less careful about that spoiler since variant covers on the Dark Horse website spoiled it already. I managed to avoid it, but mainly because I bought the reveal issue the day it came out.

    • The new Astonishing X-Men miniseries is out of continuity. It’s the whole astonishing line, essentially cashing in on Whedon and Cassaday’s run.

Siege 4 was delayed until May 12 (next week), when it comes out as a supersize issue.

      • Okay, so was Whedon’s run outside of continuity, or just everything cashing in on the word ‘Astonishing’ afterwards? I know that S.W.O.R.D’s miniseries was related to it, and Agent Brand from that showed up in Spider-Woman…

(Also, I know the penciler from S.W.O.R.D., so let me recommend it.)

        • The Whedon/Cassaday and Ellis/Jiminez runs are entirely in continuity. It’s the issues starting this month that are not in continuity.

Also, let me recommend S.W.O.R.D. just because it’s good.
