Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2021 August 1

Well, if you thought last week was quiet, you’ll have plenty of chance to nap this week.  Be sure to follow along in the house hunt on SurrealEstate as they go to the sea side for vacation, and keep your eyes out for a special from The Boys.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2021 July 25

It’s a light week for our television table, and even lighter week for descriptions, as a writer’s cabin by the lake coming up on the SurrealEstate parade of homes is the only description we have.  Based off of titles, Evil does seem to be dealing with the police, the Bad Batch confronts Riverdale’s bad boy after he gets into Tony Stark’s extra armor, and My Hero Academia’s apology is unacceptable.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2021 July 11

I hope the warm weather means more enjoyment for everyone and not being Dangerously Cooked because you went for a walk outside.  While you’re staying in, watch out for elevators.  That’s not a horror-scope, Evil is targeting one this week.  The Legends are celebrating a birthday, (my like my daughter Majel), and Flash gets shocked with a new son.  Lois and her lover from another cosmos search for the super-husband that abandoned them last episode.  We also get the season (and likely, series) finale of Loki.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2021 July 4

To the Canadians, happy Canada 🇨🇦 Day and to the Americans, happy Independence 🇺🇸 Day!  We should get Mexico to move their day out of September to the second or the third and have a North America Day on the other. I hope you have plans, because there isn’t a lot of television to watch, as The Flash gives us a John Diggle crossover, and Evil, Loki, The Bad Batch, and My Hero Academia all forgo the descriptions to make you watch the episodes to see what the fireworks are.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2021 June 27

We have only six entries in the table today, which is larger than our normal summer postings.  Despite Cutting down a bit, The Legends with their visit the the old west and The Flash and his army of Godspeeds (the white suited Flash) wave goodbye to Batwoman for her “upending” season finale.  Evil (the show) sends us an angel.  Loki and the Bad Batch round out our list, but as usually expect us to watch without any synopses.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2021 June 20

Happy Father’s Day to all applicable Bureaucrats, as we start our television week with the return of Evil.  (Not the concept, the show.)  I am all of keeping some mystery is the episodes, but the complete lack of description makes it difficult for those of us compiling a television table.  You can be deceptively condensed, even a single sentence works, as Superman and Lois’s title is longer than its vague tease about Morgan Edge.  Father’s day must have everyone feeling nostalgic, as the Legends attempt to erase the season, Batwoman attempts to return to last season’s star, and The Flash returns to past villains.  Also, The Blacklist gives us another episode after I thought the season had wrapped.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2021 June 13

It’s a week for Deceptive Covers, as The Legends tease an episode about chess with the title, but the episode description seems pretty run of the mill.  Batwoman teases a regeneration, but only battles classic villains.  Flash teases a lot of secrets, but instead unmasks everyone.  Superman and Lois suggests missing mothers, but they’re all there and arguing with their kids.  Blacklist gives us a season finale, and suggests to reveal everything about the stars.  Loki, Handmaid, Bad Batch, and My Hero Academia all have new episodes, but doesn’t give us any descriptions.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2021 June 7

If you didn’t get enough comics on your breakroom television, I have good news for you! Not only Did CW come back, bringing us a Constantine episode, Batwoman focuses on Luke Fox’s story, The Flash bids farewell to a series regular from the beginning, and Superman and Lois figure out why their show’s big bad is in Smallville in the first place, but Marvel gives us a time-hopping, What If…? styled story centered around the villain that was so popular he gets to resurrect a few times and become a hero, Loki!  In other stores, we get The Good Doctor’s season finale in Guatemala, the Handmaid’s penultimate episode, and some cartoons.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2021 May 30

The CW takes a break this week, but before you reach for Different Content, Lucifer is still finishing his fifth season, and Superman and Lois continues this new phase of Superman’s life where he just supports his family while saving the world.  The Good Doctor starts the season finale, and we travel to Guatemala.  The Handmaid welcomes familiar a new handmaid.  The band is back together on Blacklist dealing with the monster they created while squabbling.  I hope everyone can enjoy the unofficial start to summer that is Memorial Day (in America) and have some some other fun to offset the light television schedule!
