Does the same old, same old make you a Depressed Consumer of television?  Well, I have a devil of a great announcement, as both Robot Chicken and Lucifer return to give you something different to watch, and The Boys has another “News” special.  Also, if the infernal puns about Lucifer episodes bother you, this is the final season so those should be going away too!  Evil also gives us an cranial anatomy lesson, and American Horror Story examines their town’s history.  If you aren’t into the darkness, you can enjoy some animation on Star Trek: Lower Decks, Miraculous, My Hero Acadamia, and What If, which appears to be bringing the first half of the show together.  Staying with the comics, The Legends end their season basedon a wacky plan from the teams alternative pharmacist, Stargirl hits some stormy weather, Supergirl fights urban renewal, and the Titans explore democracy.  In Riverdale, everyone’s favorite cat themed musicians return.  In See find true north.  SurrealEstate has a wedding.

The CW takes a break this week, but before you reach for Different Content, Lucifer is still finishing his fifth season, and Superman and Lois continues this new phase of Superman’s life where he just supports his family while saving the world.  The Good Doctor starts the season finale, and we travel to Guatemala.  The Handmaid welcomes familiar a new handmaid.  The band is back together on Blacklist dealing with the monster they created while squabbling.  I hope everyone can enjoy the unofficial start to summer that is Memorial Day (in America) and have some some other fun to offset the light television schedule!

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2020 August 16

It’s a good thing all of those shows ended last week, it saves room for some animated offerings, as Spider-Man goes up against Rhino, the Lower Decks crew gets into some time travel hijinks, and the Muppets oversleep.  If you are looking for something a bit more traditional on the Breakroom Television, be sure to catch part one of Lucifer’s fifth season, as his brother shows up to wreck everything Lucifer has enjoyed.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2019 May 19

The TV is a lot lighter this week as “Summer” is starting, though I am not sure that traditional seasons are as much of a thing as they once were.  None the less, we are allegedly seeing the Season Finales of Game of Thrones, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Doom Patrol.  Elementary returns and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has just started back up, too.  To flesh things out, Good Omens and Swamp Thing are starting next week (May 31st.)  To flesh things out, Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger and The Twilight Zone continue on, and if you’ve been busy, Lucifer season 4 is still sitting out there in the Netflix queue.
