Trek Week On TNN

TNN (no, it’s not called The Nashville Network
anymore) will be airing a whole week of Star Trek programming
starting Monday, October 1. 77 episodes of TNG and three of the movies
(2, 3, and 5). The only non-Trek programming to be
aired that week is — wait for it — WWF Raw Is War.
(And they say it’ll have “Trek bits” in it as well.
What are they gonna do, get Jeri Ryan and The Rock
to re-enact their scenes from “Tsunkatse?”)

Vote to Resurrect The Doctor

Anonymous Coward writes, Look! :)

Simple but effective… as part of the new BBC audio-play, “Death Comes To Time,” the BBC is taking a poll as to whether Doctor Who should be revived. Unsurprisingly, the poll is about 99% in favor.

AC also reports that the Sci-Fi channel will be airing the Fox “Doctor Who” movie tonight at 9PM Eastern/Pacific.

Buffy: Year One

It looks like a comic book title, doesn’t it? It’s not the official title,
but Jeph Loeb (who produces “Batman Beyond”) is going with, more-or-less,
that concept for the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” animated series. All kinds
of scoopage right here.

Final Fantasy Fun

Since the movie comes out next Wednesday, it’s about time to start getting really excited (if you’re into that sort of thing). It’s also time for some random tidbits: here’s a neat swimsuit pic of Aki, and for the ladies, here’s one of Gray.

Also, the latest from the tech rumor mill: In addition to the normal DVD release (whenever that happens), there will be a special Playstation 2 version where some scenes are rendered in real-time, so you can play with camera angles and so on. Nifty.

Quality DVD Releases For Fall

First the summer, then the fall… this fall, we’ll
get another dozen episodes of Macross (August 7), a
special edition of Willow (November 27), and
the long-awaited special edition of The Terminator
with commentary from director James Cameron (sometime
in October). Wheee!
