King Shark turns out to be a red herring (though I’m holding out for a King Shark vs Grodd ep). Instead, this week gives us more on Earth Two, the alternate Harrison Wells, Dr. Zoom, and Dr. Light. This last character is neither Arthur Light nor Kimiyo Hoshi, but Earth-Two’s Linda Park.
Cisco Ramon finally reveals his metahuman abilities and, while he calls himself “Vibe,” good taste prevails and we see no sign of the notorious comic-book costume.
The Team fights time to find Dr. Stein a new Firestorm partner, and creates another metahuman villain in the process. The episode ends with a bit of a bite.
This week in the DCCWTVU brings us dysfunctional family dynamics, and at trip to the Lazarus pit.
Both episodes appear to be setting up the third DC-TV series, with Dr. Stein developing that healthy glow, Captain Cold considering his moral code, and a Canary making a problematic return flight.
