Noteworthy items this week include Exiles

, all of which I’ll be picking up.
Other interesting items include Birds of Prey: Of
Like Minds
, the trade collecting Gail Simone’s
first arc on the title, the first issues of
Sleeper, Hard Time,
Monolith, and Sandman Presents: Thesaly,
Witch For Hire
over at DC, as well as
Born (the collected hardcover) and
Truth: Red White and Black (the trade
paperback) from Marvel. Marvel is also launching the
X-Men Unlimited anthology series and the
Wolverine / Captain America weekly
miniseries.

    Holy cow. I don’t want to have to wait four more weeks
    for the next issue in this series. Straczynski and Frank
    are still doing great stuff.

      Oo! My comics shop had some of their stuff shipped to Kansas City instead of here (apparently they were surprised, too), so I don’t think they had that in today. I didn’t see it. I was going to go back tomorrow for Monolith, so I guess that’s something else to not forget to pick up.

      I’m rather more looking forward to the next issue of Exiles. The Wolverine and Captain America thing is probably a skip for me on future issues — the story makes no sense. None. I’ll give the X-Men anthology another couple of issues, but wasn’t real impressed. I don’t even think it’s the first book by that title, but I could be wrong on that count.

      As far as titles you didn’t mention, I grabbed issues of Fused this week and, I think, last (mid to late January, anyway). I’m quite pleased so far, but it’s only on the second issue. I might have to see if I can’t start keeping an eye on Dark Horse’s anthology book.
