  1. The Much Ado,,, retitling can be read as a kind of joke, since many scholars believe that the lost Love’s Labours Won is actually just an alternate title for Much Ado About Nothing.

    • I may have to check it out. Much Ado is by far my favorite Shakespeare play and I highly recommend either the Brannagh version from the 90’s or the more recent film from Joss Whedon and company. I really wish schools would teach this play instead of Romeo and Juliet as kids’ first impression of The Bard.
