I was a big Kevin Smith Askewniverse fan back in these days. I even went to Redbank New Jersey for his Dogma-thon film fest one year. (For the record, these statements were typed before I listened, so any spoilers that appear are purely coincidence.)
Dorky – Clerks – 9 right, 9 points –
Geeky – Mallrats – 9 right, 18 points – “Comic Book Icon” “Cameo” doesn’t need any more details to answer it. I said those four words and it’s enough for my wife to get the answer without knowing what films of subject we were talking about. Given the audience, those questions need to be more difficult. “What floor of the mall does he appear on?”
Nerdy – Chasing Amy – 9 right, 27 points – Technically, there’s two pairs of dynamic duos that inspired Bluntman and Cronic.
Contrary to what you suggest, I was actually considering suggesting these as series for me to watch with Inara (about to be 18) when we finish this season of Buffy.
