Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 5 May 2019

Busy week, sorry the schedule is going up late!  We are getting to the point where there’s almost too much to list, but with the Arrowverse on DC’s CW winding down we have Marvel stepping up with the return of S.H.E.I.L.D., and Lucifer drops all of Season 4, Netflix style!  Also, if you like Disney’s animated offerings, DuckTales and Big Hero 6 also seem to be coming out once a day.  Am I missing anything you guys are watching?

Game of Thrones – S08E04 – The Last of the Starks – In the wake of a costly victory, Jon and Daenerys look to the south as Tyrion eyes a compromise that could save countless lives. (See Bureau42 for a review!)

Supergirl – S04E20 – Will The Real Miss Tessmacher Please Stand Up? – Kara and Lena head to Kaznia to hunt down Lex. However, Eve Tessmacher sets a trap for the duo that could ultimately reveal that Kara is Supergirl. Meanwhile, Alex gets a long-awaited phone call, James practices using his powers, and Ben Lockwood takes a dangerous stand inside the D.E.O.

Arrow – S07E21 – Living Proof – Oliver finds himself in a precarious position. SCPD shows up with a warrant for Felicity.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow – S04E14 – Nip | Stuck – With Constantine missing, the Legends struggle to find a way to track him. When Sara hesitates to make a tough call, Rory steps up creating a wedge in the team. Meanwhile, Ava gives Gary the responsibility of handling the Bureau performance reviews for all the Agents.

The Flash – S05E21 – The Girl With The Red Lightning – Team Flash is on high alert after Cicada II threatens to unleash a dangerous virus that would put all meta-humans at risk.

Riverdale – S03E21 – Chapter Fifty-Six: The Dark Secret of Harvest House – Veronica turns to Mary and Archie for help after uncovering a secret that Hiram had been keeping from her. Betty raises questions after witnessing some strange activities at The Farm. Jughead finds himself one step closer to uncovering the Gargoyle King’s identity.

Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger – S02E07 – Vikingtown Sound – Adina is pushed to a dangerous edge as she looks to get answers and closure for her two boys. Meanwhile, Tyrone comes in contact with a mysterious figure on his search for Tandy.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – S06E01 – Missing Pieces – Scattered across the galaxy, the team works to find their footing in the wake of losing Coulson.

Doom Patrol – S01E13 – Flex Patrol – The Doom Patrol tries to restore the memories and abilities of Flex Mentallo, while Rita confronts her self-doubt and Larry realizes how tied he is to the Negative Spirit.

Lucifer – S04(Now with 100% more Netflix!) – Reeling from the aftermath of Chloe seeing his devil face, Lucifer faces a new challenge: Eve, the original sinner herself, is back. Does she want revenge for when he tempted her out of Eden oh so many years ago… or something else entirely?

Big Hero 6: The Series – S02 – (Releasing daily) – As the new prodigy at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, Hiro now faces daunting academic challenges and the social trials of being the little man on campus. Off campus, the stakes are raised for the high-tech heroes as they must protect their city from an array of scientifically enhanced villains.

DuckTales – S02 – (Releasing daily) – Ducktales are the adventures of billionaire Scrooge McDuck and his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie, their famous uncle Donald Duck, pilot extraordinaire Launchpad, Mrs. Beakly, Webby and Gizmoduck. Adventures and hidden treasures are everywhere, in their hometown Duckburg and all around the world.

  1. American Gods was the season finale last week? I hadn’t realized that.

    Arrow…. I can’t wait for that one to finish. Is that future storyline even related the the main timeline?

    I am looking forward to binging Lucifer as soon as my schedule frees up.

    • I keep expecting Arrow to pull a timey wimey scam on us. Then again, I seem to recall that we saw glimpses of that future on Legends so there’s a pretty solid chance that the flash forwards are real.

      • I figured the B-team who did all the Island stuff from the first seasons needed something to do, so instead of going back, they went forward.
