  1. Dorky: 8/10
    Geeky: 5/10
    Nerdy: 10/10

Nit pick: The real name of Marvel’s Power Man is Carl Lucas. He was arrested for a crime he didn’t commit and used the alias Luke Cage after leaving prison to avoid the fallout from the accusation. Also, to be fair, “Cage” isn’t actually Nicholas Coppola’s last name either. He wanted to succeed in Hollywood without riding his uncle’s coattails, so he took a stage name inspired by his favourite comic book character, Luke Cage.

    • I wondered how many would know Nick Cage’s real name (and tie to his uncle), but I figured we all know him by the stage name, so it would be OK. I did not, however, know about Luke Cage. Good stuff to learn!

      • I did know that, but I still figured out what you were going for. I ended up with a total of 31 points, which was surprisingly high scoring for me. The Nerdy Round was most of those points, with the Geeky round crushing me for some reason.

  2. Probably the most novel round– uh, except for any rounds dealing with novels.

Like Fiz, I did best in the first and last rounds.

Fun fact: “June Osborne” is only the character’s name in the TV series. The original novel never establishes her real name.

    • Ah. Good to know. I prefer going with the original source matter, not the adaptations, so I’ve broken my own rule there.

All in all, folks like this break from the usual?

      • Yes, I did enjoy the change of pace. It’s also unpredictable. You say “Game of Thrones” and I know I’ll bomb it, having read 0 books and watched 2 episodes of the show so far. (I enjoyed the show, but usually had young kids around when watching television, so we had other shows to watch instead.) Others I expect to do quite well. This one is the kind of question set where everybody gets something, but few completely ace it and even fewer completely bomb it.
