Odd – X-Files-like?
I don’t know about y’all (haven’t watched the last 2 episodes of DW yet), but Captain Jack seems a bit…. lighthearted. More of a caricature of a WWII flying ace than a real character. Granted, he showed much more during the subsequent episode, but during “The Empty Child” he didn’t show a character that I’d associate with an X-Files-type show.
Re: Odd – X-Files-like?
Is it wrong that I read that last part as Dark Wing (Duck)? : )
Re: Odd – X-Files-like?
There is quite a bit of character developement in Jack in the last two episodes. He, ( as well as Rose ) makes some big choices ( or has them made for him )in those episodes.
Re: Odd – X-Files-like?
Just announced today: If you’re in Canada, that entire
season will hit DVD for you in February. The rest of
region 1 can mail-order; I’ll provide a link in the
relevant DVD picks column.
