The Trivia is coming! The Trivia is coming! This week, we’ve got Massachusetts Trivia. Thirty questions about one of the oldest states in the country and the birthplace of the American Revolution. Needless to say, there is a LOT of history to cover and we’re only skimming the surface of the state. If you’re a history nerd, feel free to check out the Extra Credit links below to get even more information about Massachusetts.
I drove here for a friend’s funeral about twenty two years ago. Nice place, but after my terror on the roads, I think it’s unlikely I’ll return.
Dorky – 10 points, 10 right – I knew more thank I thought!
Geeky – 12 points, 6 right – Mostly guesses, but good guesses!
Nerdy – 3 points, 1 right – I had a few guesses, but not good ones.
Though I remember a local donut shop where they had a sign for some just labeled “cream”. I asked, and they are what the rest of the world refers to as “Boston Cream”.
It’s chock full of history, so it’s definitely on my to-do list.
Geeky #9: I stand by my response of “incorrectly”.
That’s fair. I worked with a lady from Massachusetts who thought it would be fun to teach me the “proper” way to pronounce the names of New England towns. So I’m this rare Westerner who can say the names like a local. Messes with their heads.
