Surface Discussion – “109”

The inventive episode titles just keep on coming.
Maybe I’d understand why they’re just numbering if I’d
seen the show.

  1. Quiet around here…
Hmmm it’s too quiet here. Has everyone stopped watching Surface? Is it because they’ve stopped showing gratuitous bikinis? Anyway, to get the discussion rolling, I’ll introduce a topic:

Miles: so stupid he deserves to be eaten by sea-monsters?

    Discuss…

      Totally agree.

      Here’s another one for you:
If the “submersible” was bouyant enough to stay at the surface next to the raft, how did it sink in the first place?

Secondly, ignoring the bouyancy of the submersible, could the raft still lift the multi-ton tank and cable?

They came up pretty fast too, I know they’re in a pressurised tin can, but surely there would have been some pressure differences? I’m not a diver, or a submariner.

Oddly, despite all these glaring faults I’m still enjoying this show. Is there something wrong with me?

          Me, too.

And at least it’s better than Threshold.

Yes. Initially I enjoyed his section of the show, but it’s really gotten bad – I can’t understand why he assumes every small monster attack must be Nim.

Exactly. It’s like having a dog, and after your dog runs away, assuming every dog bite you ever hear of must have been YOUR dog. Then going to a garbage dump where you think a wild dog might go, and running into a pack of wild dogs and being surprised that they don’t extend professional curtesy of not attacking you since you are looking for your lost dog that you love.
