Star Trek XI: The Mirror Universe?

It’s been all over and frankly, I just don’t believe it. Not that powers that be aren’t that stupid, it just doesn’t make any sense. Only we few geeks even know about the whole Mirror Universe concept and I doubt that Paramount will attempt anything with that narrow an audience. Here’s the original story from Ain’t it Cool News.

Update: Paramount has quashed the rumor, but has confirmed the existance of a Star Trek script that is being looked at by the studio.

Fortunately, it’s only being reported on AICN, which means there’s a better than average chance it’s total fiction.

Please, please, please, let it be total fiction.

By definition Star Trek is total fiction. ;-)

I think this movie would require a whole new numbering rule. Something like Star Trek movies with the number 11 are absolutely, completely unwatchable. How is it that EVERYONE knows whats wrong with Star Trek (B&B) but yet they’re still allowed to be in charge. True, the article does not mention them, but c’mon who ELSE could have come up with something this lame.

There was a rumour going around a few years (ok, decades) ago that they were going to make a “Spaceballs 3: The Search for Spaceballs 2”.
