Super Mario Trivia

It’s-a trivia time!

Hey folks, this is episode 219 of the Dorky Geeky Nerdy Trivia Podcast. I’m your host, Brian Rollins and this week, we’ve got Mario Trivia. That’s right, video game trivia with that overall-clad hero.

If you’re new to DGN, welcome to the show. Every week, we’ve got three rounds of ten questions each. If you need rules or scorecards, visit DorkyGeekyNerdy.com. And be sure to use the contact form there to drop me suggestions or notes.

A quick shoutout to a pair of loyal listeners, Ashley and her nephew Jackson who listen in West Virginia.Hey you guys. Glad you’re listening. It’s great that young Jackson has embraced trivia at an early age and kudos to aunt Ashley for sharing it with him.

And with that, we’ll get things started.

  1. Mario may not be my favorite of the video game offerings, but I can’t deny that everything he appears in can easily steal hours and hours of your day, and I can’t think of any time that has left me disappointed.

Dorky – 10 right, 10 points – I can hear the fireworks over the castle now! (Yes, I time it to land at a 9)
Geeky – 4 right, 8 points – These were mostly the games I haven’t played.
    Nerdy – 3 right, 9 points – That’s “Captain!”

My favorite game was the Super Mario 64 game, and I still hear that endless music whenever I have to climb something.

    • I went back and forth on including his “rank” but I believe the show credited him without it (or that’s how IMDB has it), so that made up my mind.

  2. Mario is our childhood memory, and he steals hours of our time every weekend. super good classic
