      • Only one Marvel, Guardians. And Barbie. But also, Elemental (which was surprisingly good).

Oh! And Indiana Jones! Four movies!

        • I missed that in there, too. I am surprised Spider-Verse wasn’t the other, it was good.

Elemental is in my queue, somewhere, but I hadn’t actually but any time towards getting to it.

    • I’ve only seen two of the Best Picture nominees. I’m happy both “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” were nominated, but I’ll be cranky if anything but “Oppenheimer” wins. I’ll have to watch it again to be sure, but it may replace “2001: A Space Odyssey” as my favourite film of all time.

        • Oppenheimer manages to be both epic and realistic in its retelling of a man’s life and a piece of history. We saw it at a drive-in. The second screen was showing Barbie– which we will finally see this winter. But we’re behind. We also still have to see Killers of the Flower Moon, though I’m familiar with the history, in no small part thanks to the documentary Osage Moon.
