I never watched this show, but it seems like this sort of show is what led to shows like Grease – Rise of the Pink Ladies and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, (which I’ve enjoyed with my kid,) so I probably should have.
Dorky – 0 correct, 0 points – For the easy round, where people usually can get points for having heard of it in passing, I got a goose egg.
Geeky – 1 correct, 2 points – Supergirl point!
Nerdy – 1 correct, 3 points – Correctly guessed a year!
I have two guesses about next week, but I think we did one (or both) of them already. I didn’t watch either but saw enough of both to do better than this week. (I hope.)
This was part of the media I consumed to “keep up” with my teenage daughter. I liked it for what it was. The message it was trying to send was good, albeit blunt. (And as Trek fan, I cannot begrudge anyone for delivering a blunt message, can I?)
