Sports cars! I expect to do very poorly. Since I got my electric car I’ve started to think of internal combustion engine cards with the same regard I would give someone who was asking to light their cigarette while listening to an 8-track and using the mimeograph machine. (That is, as the fossils they’re burning to move around.)

I haven’t yet converted to EV, but since my wife and I both WFH, I think I gas up like every other month.
But I have solar panels! So I’m cool, right?

Faint praise aside, it is a great to do. I like to tell people my car runs on sunlight since I charge it from my house with solar panels, too.
If you work from home, I do recommend an electric car. (Mine is the EV6.) You “fill up your tank” for $8 and if you’re just bumping around town, it charges overnight. It’s great!
I think our next car will be an EV. The ones we have now are both Toyota, so they’ll last for another 10 years or more before needing to be replaced.
My last two had been Toyatas, too. By the time they wear out, you might no longer have a choice!
A fair point. We often joke those cars will outlast us.
