    Hiro’s do-over
Yay! And it’s not a cop out! It’s actually interesting, and I look forward to seeing how this plays out. I hope it doesn’t mean he’s leaving Ando behind, though. Ando may be a mundane, but he’s a good character, too.

I have a hard time believing that he won’t meet up with Ando again, and that will be really annoying: I could sorta see if he ran off and somehow ended up in another life track that he wouldn’t want to come back to the old one, but he shouldn’t leave his friend hanging like that. It’s no different than leaving in a mundane way, saying, "I’ll be right back" and then not doing so. Actually worse, because he can "be right back" from any point in the rest of his life — how hard would it be to pop in and say "go on without me, I’ll catch up on this day/time?" Unless he never does develop good enough control, or dies before he gets the chance.

Here’s the one thing I think you might be ignoring: He told Peter that going back (or, perhaps, traveling at all) in time is dangerous, potentially created a "rift" as he called it. I suspect we’re probably going to find out what he was talking about as a result of this trip backwards.

    Isaac’s Clean-Up

Am I the only one wondering why Isaac didn’t tell them about Peter being able to ‘channel’ his power to finish a painting? If he really didn’t want to go back on the drugs, he could have mentioned Peter and brought him in. Isaac didn’t strike me as the kind of guy who would’ve deliberately not mentioned it for Peter’s sake, especially given what happened between them.

And speaking of Peter… A picture has been posted around for a couple weeks that shows Claire and Peter covered in blood, presumably at the homecoming game. So we know he gets there somehow. This may have been in the preview, but my tivo cut the episode off before that showed.

Maybe he really is being a good guy, not wanting to reveal someone else’s secret to people he barely knows (and who are telling him to shoot junk). He certainly seemed very different after getting [temporarily] clean. Besides, he appeared to be pretty accepting of what went down when he and Peter were working together. I would imagine being able to see the future could make one pretty fatalistic…
