  1. This was the best ep yet
I really liked this one. The end differs from the council presented in the books, however.

  2. Walls
Glad to see someone beat me to posting this this week =)

I thought this was a very strong episode. Definitely not the council from the books, or the kid would have lost his head instead of getting an apprenticeship.

Speaking of which, it looks like Morgan’s sword is coming out next week. Nice!

Yes, I broke down and read Storm Front last weekend. Pretty good book. I would have picked up the next couple in the series, but my local Barnes & Noble was missing books 2 and 3 of the series, and since somebody numbered the things I just wouldn’t feel right going out of order. ;)

Something to look forward to, Storm Front is probably the worst book in the series. It’s still good, don’t get me wrong =)

          That’s good news, indeed.

Even my dad was halfway through Storm Front (I gave it to him because he too has been watching the show) the last time I talked to him, and he’s by no means a big reader of anything in the scifi/fantasy realm (he’s almost exclusively into military fiction and the occasional mystery my mom passes him). His only real complaint was that he didn’t understand many of the words being used, like "thaumaturgy." :)

  3. Really Enjoying the Series
It seems to be finding it’s stride rather quickly, though I’ve heard the episodes are all out of order not sure if that’s true.

    Very interesting.

Yup, they’re being aired out of order. Storm Front was originally the pilot.

You can tell by the character interactions and and the way they give stuff away that this was meant to be an early episode. Plus he had his drumstick which we previously saw get disintegrated.

  4. Help! What car
Been watching DF with my missus since the start which is so cool ‘cas usually she hates this type of programme, perhaps she likes the lead a little but what the hell, stops her moaning at least.

Anyhow in a great demonstration of product placement the opening sequence had a student Rachelle (don’t get me started on the spelling of that name) run over by an awesome looking car, but I couldn’t see a badge. It looked kinda like a Jaguar or an Aston Martin or any number of American muscle cars I’m unfamiliar with. Please help, links to the actual car with badge or what what you think the model was would be greatly appreciated.
