# Blindsight, Peter Watts (Tor)
I’ve read this one, it’s good. http://www.rifters.com/
If you liked Alastair Reynolds’ Revelation Space, you’ll like this one too. Weird main characters, gritty world, no magic soul nonsense.
One caveat – it’s DARK. Damn dark, and bleak. Darker than Iain Banks’ stuff. Good, but be forewarned.
Also, this is not an easy read. At all. It can be quite hard to figure out what’s going on if you aren’t careful. It shares the same htinks with RevSpace as described above, but the similarities end there.
