  1. So has anyone had a chance to read the Blue Beetle backup stories yet? (I keep forgetting to pick mine up!) What are they like?

    • Too short :( Other than that nagging little whine they’re pretty decent for what they are doing. I came in about halfway through the last blue beetle run knowing nothing more about the character save what had been discussed here in the reviews but I’d say it’s keeping pretty true to that so far and telling a fun tale at the same time. A guesstimate would be at the current pace it’ll be about 4 or so issues before one issues worth of backup story gets told.

Though I’d say if you’re not a fan of Booster Gold you might want to wait and see if all the backup issues are put out in a collected form at some point. I’m admittedly still warming up to it myself after having read the last ten issues but your mileage may vary.
