I’ll reserve real judgment until I see both parts, but so far it’s not so bad.
Agreed. I’m no huge fan of the show, but the set-up, despite my reservations regarding the premise and the wildly derivative elements, wasn’t too bad. We’ll see where it goes.
Is it just me or is the alternate universe a nicer place than our own. I mean other than the fact that it seems to be suffering a lot more from Walter’s trip. I’m wondering if the writers are trying to avoid an evil mirror universe or going for making the other side the good guys…
Their U.S. seems to be more of a police state, but that perception is based on a small sample. What makes it “better,” to you (other than the fact that 9-11 never occurred, which is a plus).
(I’ll dodge for now the issue of how a world with such a radically different history would have exactly the same people living in it in 2010).
It certainly appeared to have the technological edge.
This season has had some fairly good episodes, hope it keeps up.
