We’ve been in rerun hell for the past few weeks, so I thought I’d give everyone a heads up. Jan 8th features a new episode, “Dawn.”
Looks promising, written by John Shiban who did a pretty good job with “Minefield” earlier this season.

Trip Tucker has a firefight with an alien and they both crash land on a moon. They must contend with each other to survive the dangers of their new environment.

Heh, good one. I loved that movie when I was younger.
Besides the obvious movie reference, does anyone else think this sounds a little redundant? First the princess, now this. I just hope the “let’s strand Trip on a planet with an alien” plotline doesn’t become the Enterprise equivalent of “let’s mess with O’Brien’s head (for the 346th time)!”

What we need is lots of episodes where they strand Trip on a planet with an alien IN A CAVE. They’ve been slacking off on the caves theme. I haven’t posted a ‘cavewatch’ in a long time.
