DC Television Week 19 Discussion

This week is a week off for half of the Arrowverse, but special guest Denethor Crashes the Legend’s episode as John Noble appears and pretends to be the voice of the character he voices.  I think the Legends are turning “meta” into a weapon.  Black Lightning reaches the painful point of his allegory.  Supergrandpa begins his new job.  Meanwhile, Arrow showcases dating woes.

DC Television Week 18 Discussion

I got a bit distracted this week with work, so please excuse any delayed conversation that I have caused.   On Lucifer, Maze goes bad.  Well, Maze goes back to being evil… er?  The Legends find out Ava’s secret origin.  Black Lightning works with the children more, Arrow is not working with the Avenger’s villain, but some new Deadly Contractors.  On Krypton, Supergrandpa adjust to his new life as an orphan.

DC Television Week 17 Discussion

Like the universe we inhabit, the DC television universe expands beyond its Defined Constraints.  Instead of just the CW, we are now branched out to Syfy and to CW Seed.  While a decent chunk of our heroes enjoy their vacation, Lucifer takes a back seat to C̵l̵a̵r̵k̵ ̵K̵e̵n̵t̵ Pierce, Legends has the best pun of a show title yet, while Black Lightning enjoys some quality time with the family.  Out in deep space, Krypton begins to end, and we get a heaping helping of John Constantine.

DC Television Week 16 Discussion

The Date Convention I have been using isn’t that accurate as it was when there only four shows and were starting at the same time.  This week, we get to see Lucifer act as a groupie for a superstar, The Legends visit one of the first big superstars, The Flash swaps out with Iris so she can be super, Black Lightning deals with his family and their super powers, and we get a preview of the new super show Krypton.  (Arrow and Supergirl are still taking a break from being super.)

DC Television Week 15 Discussion

The Daft Characters of our shows continue their separate story lines.  Lucifer gives the scientific method a try.  Legends visits a 60’s era crime drama, Flash has a stopped time episode, Black Lightning develops its new hero, and while I haven’t seen it at the time of its airing, I have to wonder if the title of this episode of Arrow spoils the episode.
