Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2020 September 20

Do you like drawing?  We have two more animated shows, but so far, no descriptions for me to comment on.  DuckTales returns, as does the new season of Big Hero 6, and Lower Decks gives us the another voyage into the minutia of Star Trek.  Raised by Wolves gives us two new episodes, the Bureau 42 reviews are your best source for that show’s information.  The Boys can show us the aftermath of a super “throw-down” from last week.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2020 September 13

The slow summer schedule slides on, offering us Wolves, ensigns of the Lower Decks, and the Boys, but none of which offer us any descriptions.  Got anything you recently binged on you want to share with the Bureau?

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2020 September 6

So, did you enjoy The Boys first three episodes?  Are the Lower Deck ensigns making you laugh?  If not, there is bad news; that’s all this week.  Anyone watching anything else?

[Edit to add:] Raised by Wolves was added.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2020 August 30

It’s the big season finale for Star Trek’s Lower Decks, as well as for The Muppets.  If kid friendly (or at least, animated) isn’t your bag, The Boys are back in town for their second season.  Otherwise, it’s a quiet week for the Breakroom television, to help us all focus on the new school year starting back up, since odds are good it is happening at home.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2020 August 23

So, this week, there is a new Trek and Mor– err.. Star Trek: Lower Decks and some more Muppets.  Presumably nobody wanted to compete with last week’s Lucifer drop, so nothing was coming out this week.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2020 August 16

It’s a good thing all of those shows ended last week, it saves room for some animated offerings, as Spider-Man goes up against Rhino, the Lower Decks crew gets into some time travel hijinks, and the Muppets oversleep.  If you are looking for something a bit more traditional on the Breakroom Television, be sure to catch part one of Lucifer’s fifth season, as his brother shows up to wreck everything Lucifer has enjoyed.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2020 August 9

Was last week’s premier of Star Trek: Lower Decks just too much for you?  Do you need some endings to balance out the new series?  Well, there is some good news for you!  Stargirl finishes her season battle the Injustice Society of America, Perry Mason closes the case on his season, and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. wrap up seven seasons of Marvel Cinematic action on television.  What does that leave?  Well, you can watch some more animated Trek comedy as Lower Decks fight some Klingons and the Muppets contend with one of the most powerful forces on earth: Disney Legal.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2020 August 2

The list of new shows shortens, but it would have been a feat of dedication to finish the Umbrella Academy already.  Perry Mason continues his deeper investigation into the churches extra investments, while Stargirl goes on the run from the villains.  It’s a Brand New Day, and the sun is high on SHIELD, while the Doom Patrol gets into candle making.  Once you’re done with that, you can watch a Muppet version of a put-upon SysAdmin deal with … well, muppets.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2020 July 26

Another summer week, another light list.  Perry Mason actually starts being a lawyer this week.  Stargirl gets to discover more about her school’s janitor, while the Doom Patrol tackles their daddy issues.  The Agents return to the eighties after their bottle episode last week.  If that wasn’t enough Comics for you this week, Netflix has stashed something away for just such a rainy day: The Umbrella Academy drops season two on Friday!  If you were just looking for cheap laughs, Robot Chicken drops a few episodes to end their season.

[Edit to add:] Muppets Now comes out this week.  Is that the Genre enough that it should be included here for Bureau 42?  It certainly is no less so appropriate than Perry Mason, so it is included.  As always, feel free to debate and comment if something should not be added or if something good is being missed.

Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2020 July 19

Another calm summer week, Stargirl takes on Brainwave’s son, Brainwave, and the Doom Patrol start taking stupid pills.  Perry Mason introduces us to his son and ex-wife.  The Agents continues their victory lap season by visiting their past failures, and Blindspot didn’t actually end with the last episode as expected, but we get a series finale this week.
