If you missed all those big summer movies, that’s no problem – they’re all coming out on video and DVD this fall. “Tomb Raider” is due out on November 13, “Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within” is due out on October 23, where is will compete with the long-awaited DVD special edition of “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.” Other films likely to be shoveled out in time for Christmas include “A.I.” and “Jurassic Park 3”. Here’s the news story that repeats everything I just said. :-)

ST: Enterprise Pilot: The Script (maybe)
Take it with a fifty-pound bag of salt, as always, but Coming Attractions linked to something they claim is the script to “Broken Bow,” the pilot of “Star Trek: Enterprise”. It’s also mirrored here in our downloadables section. You have to provide your own line-wrapping, though…
Freddy Vs. Jason: It Just Might Happen
Yeah, they’ve been bandying about the idea of pairing up slasher-gods Freddy (the guy with the nifty nails) and Jason (the guy with the old-school hockey mask) for roughly forever. But when Freddy himself (Robert Englund) says it’s gonna happen, it lends a certain believability that’s hard to find.
Trek Ten Troubles?
AICN has always been a bit too cartoonish and too rumor-filled for my taste, but occasionally they do point out something that almost makes sense.
Though I doubt there’s quite as much urgency in the casting schedule as this article implies, the truth is that Patrick Stewart will be tied up for a while with “X-Men 2,” making it difficult to get him for “Star Trek Ten,” by whatever name they call it.
Art Imitates Art Imitates Art
“X-Men: Evolution” and the forthcoming “Justice League” are both based on comic books. So, naturally, they’re getting comic books of their own, based on the TV series, which were based on comic books. Ugh. Too many circles for my mind to comprehend. The Cinescape article doesn’t explain it much better, though.
Review: Samurai Jack (Pilot) (2001)
Maybe I’m just getting in touch with my inner child, but I really wanted to watch “Samurai Jack.” The review follows.

The Matrix: Reloaded Delayed
GusherJizmac writes, See it right here. Too bad. Maybe Lucas manhandled them into delaying it so it wouldn’t compete with “Dude, Where’s my Clone?”
Tolkien Fans Get The Gulag
This is rather disturbing… in one of the weird little dots that used to make up the Soviet Union, the police are arresting and allegedly torturing people who re-enact scenes from Tolkien novels.
Jay And Silent Bob Get Smacked
This is just bloody silly… After seeing an advance screening of “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” GLAAD is giving ultra-fanboy Kevin Smith, perhaps one of the most gay-friendly men on the planet, a bucket of grief over that movie.
It’s my site, darnit, so I’m gonna editorialize now…

A.I. Gets Nailed By Swedish Censors
Okay, censors isn’t perhaps the most correct term, but that’s what they’re called. The Swedish Board of Film Censors has given “A.I.” a “15” rating, which prevents anyone under the age of 15 from seeing the film. Remember, kids, violence is okay (“Pearl Harbor” got an “11” rating), but not things that make you think. Requisite Reuters story.
