How in the world to they plan to keep it up? Season eight has been more enjoyable than recent seasons, but that’s because they’re moving things forward. There’s a definite expiry date on the series, though, as they either stop marching towards the end or get him to where he needs to be and end the series.

Smallville is going back into reruns for the next few weeks. In its absence, I’ll be reviewing Joss Whedon’s “Dollhouse” instead, starting with its premier on Friday, February 13.
